The mighty Mercedes om606 diesel engine, known for finicky fuel sytems and dastardy seized glowplugs... a very complex and challenging conversion. Why bother? Dual overhead cams, crossflow heads, 4 valves per cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled. Possibly the best sounding diesel ever made.
