Happy Hour @ Jake's Garage

I bought that 1986 Toyotie diesel on December 30th, and promised Kate I'd have it gone by Saturday.

So, I sent out an invite for a fun night in the garage. Had about 8 people pass through, and everyone had a blast tearing into the Toyotie.

Lots of fun for folks who don't normally work on cars... we were just tearing it apart so they didn't have to be too careful, and it goes FAST. Started at 8pm, and the engine was dangling from a hoist by midnight.












And on Saturday they came to tow away the bare carcass. I even kept the fancy-schmancy aluminum wheels. Goodbye, Toyotie!
